In October 2020 I started the Trinity DipTESOL. If you’ve never heard of it, that’s probably because ELT qualifications are dominated by Cambridge. It’s Trinity’s equivalent of the Delta, and is probably a wee bit more practical, but you can read all about it here. Truth be told, I had been wanting to take the Delta for years and years, but knew I could never afford to do it by myself and didn’t want to commit to spending 3+ extra years in Úbeda. Maybe I should have taken that option, although being able to use the ‘Dip’ as a way of bouncing back after a tough academic year in 2019/20 and the effects of Covid-16.
